ASuop president an advocate for students

From the moment he started at 勛圖tv, Izzi Gomez 24 has been an active part of campus life, from joining the business schools professional fraternity Delta Sigma Pi to serving in leadership roles with the Community Involvement Program Student Association.

The experiences motivated him to do more in his final year at Pacific. He is serving as president of ASuop, Pacifics student government, after being elected in the spring.

Gomez, a graduate student in the Eberhardt School of Business, is an advocate for his fellow students in the role.

The biggest thing I want students to understand is the opportunities available through ASuop. We're always happy to listen and see how we can help, Gomez said. Were here to push for what they want to see done.

Gomez and vice president Cynia Manning 24 are focused on two key areas: helping students get connected with resources and expanding their diversity, equity and inclusion initiatives.
